How to eliminate unnatural links

How to eliminate unnatural links | Solution | Fix

The first thing you think is “This unnatural links letter Sucks”……for anyone who received the letter from Google about “unnatural links” here is the fix for it plain and simple!

Studying the “unnatural links SOLUTIONS” letter after i received a email from a frantic potential new client “whats the Fix For This?” sent by Google to this frantic potential new client in Google Webmaster Tools, i decided to dig around the Google Webmaster forums and other reputable sources to read up on how to solve this problem.

The biggest question is: What are considered unnatural links or bad link building practices?
Here it is in a nutshell to make it simple to understand (even if your not-a-geek).
How to eliminate unnatural links
First, Google doesn’t tell you what they really want for linkbacks! they give you HINTS…… :)

You basically have no idea and have to guess…you will need to read through all the garbage written about this potential problem by some (“down the street joe’s information on how to solve this problem”) and come up with your own solution.
And Then there is Bohol Web Design who has spent 200+ hours researching this Google warning;

If you received this unnatural links letter i would suggest (due to many years of reading webmaster tips) doing the following procedure to rectify this.

First watch this video from Matt Cutts!

Second: Watch the video again… :)

You may ask…why is Google doing this to the little guy?

Google is doing this for the following reasons:

1. To Increase Google Ad Sense revenues
2. To Drive traffic to Google+ to “outdo Facebook and twitter”
3. Google would rather have huge corporations spend tons of money with Ad Sense rather than with little SEO companies too stupid to comply (95% of them).

You may say “this is Lame” and yes, i agree, but this is whats happening and as usual, the little guy takes the blunt of the Vipers strike, and then there is the little guy with the solution to the problem.
As stated in the video above explaining “What are some effective techniques for building links? ” question, he goes on to explain, “links are fine but if done in a proper way”.
Here is the proper way to “Link Back”:
(Links that are surrounded by fresh content “Like this article” and have a rel=”nofollow” tag on every outbound link and a generic “alttag” as well as a url shortener)
Will still have the functionality of the original purpose but avoid the “unnatural links” penalty and FREE YOU OF THIS BAD GOOGLE LETTER!
This is the fix people!

So…Whats the proper way to links in laymen terms?

here is an example of a Google Friendly Link:
Lets say i wanted to post this article on a blogger website (to gain a link back to this article for reference) and link back to the original content without getting penalized by Google.
Simple solution: You would comment on the original materiel on this post and provide a linkback that looks like this below:

I have read this article on “How to eliminate unnatural links” and i find it very informative pertaining to the new April, 2012 Google’s Panda new algorithms.

CODE View: <a title=”Read More…” href=”http://tinyurl.com/6uwn9yl” rel=”nofollow”>Read More….</a>

shortner found at http://tinyurl.com
you may say…“Yeah Baby I found the solution to this problem”

And your right you did…REMEMBER, i gathered this information spending hundreds of hours reading Google webmasters forum responses around the world testing different scenarios on my own and solutions dealing with this warning from Google Webmaster Tools

Now…follow the instructions in this simple to follow article and you will survive this.

    • Build internal links to your posts from within the WordPress post editor! Use “Instant Post Propulsion” technology to automatically link your old posts to new ones.
    • Lets you enable “Silo Linking” mode so that posts only link to other posts in the same category.
  • Canonicalizer
    • Point search engines to preferred content access points with <link rel="canonical" /> head tags and/or Link: <url>; rel="canonical" HTTP headers.

    • Redirect requests for non-existent pagination with a simple check box.
  • 404 Monitor

    • The default settings hone in on the most important errors by only logging 404s that either have a referring URL or are generated by a search engine spider.
    • If desired, ignore 404s generated from specific URLs or wildcard URL patterns.
  • Link box Inserter
    • Encourage natural link building activity by adding text boxes to the end of your posts/pages that contain automatically-generated link HTML.

    • Lets you output your Deeplink Juggernaut Footer Links in a widget
    • The Siloed Categories widget makes it drag-and-drop-easy to construct siloed navigation on your site
  • Settings Monitor– NEW in Version 6.9

Bing VS Yahoo

Bing Jumps to Number Two Spot, Overtaking Yahoo

Bing Jumps to Number Two Spot, Overtaking Yahoo

Bing Jumps to Number Two Spot, Overtaking Yahoo

Within days of launching, Microsoft’s new search engine Bing managed to nab the number two spot in terms of market share, overtaking Yahoo in the United States and worldwide, according to data from StatCounter Global Stats. The company reports that Bing has grabbed market share from Google as well. As of last Thursday, Google had 71.47% market share in the U.S., followed by Bing with 16.28% and Yahoo with 10.22%. Globally, Google’s market share stood at 87.62%, while Bing had 5.62% and Yahoo was close behind with 5.13%.

Of the rise of Bing, StatCounter CEO Aodhan Cullen said, “It remains to be seen if Bing falls away after the initial novelty and promotion, but at first sight it looks like Microsoft is on to a winner. Steve Ballmer is quoted as saying that he wanted Microsoft to become the second biggest search engine within five years. Following the breakdown in talks to acquire Yahoo! at a cost of $40bn, it looks as if he may have just achieved that with Bing much sooner and a lot cheaper than anticipated.”

If Bing continues on an upward trajectory, it could pose a challenge to Google as well. An informal survey by News portal One News Page suggested that 55% of users plan to replace Google with Bing as their main search engine. Bing’s branding also seems to have taken off 65% of respondents claimed to like the name, while 90% said they would use the expression “to Bing it” as a colloquialism for searching on the web.

Studies have found that user loyalty to search engines is low. A 2009 Forrester Research survey revealed that more than half of respondents used more than one search engine to locate information, and despite Google’s online dominance, only 20% of users searched with Google exclusively. The key to capitalizing on shifting loyalties, the survey found, was to offer different search services than just simple information retrieval. With Bing’s positioning as a “decision engine” and Wolfram Alpha’s recent launch as a “computational knowledge engine,” market share among search engines may continue to shift.

22 Percent of Domains in the US are running WordPress

22 out of every 100 new active domains in the US are running WordPress.
These are staggering statistics! And the way WordPress is improving i'm sure it will extend into more and more users and developers hands and domains!

State of the Word

Posted August 19, 2011 by Matt Mullenweg. Filed under Community,Meta.

This has been an exciting year for WordPress. We’ve grown to power 14.7% of the top million websites in the world, up from 8.5%, and the latest data show 22 out of every 100 new active domains in the US are running WordPress.

I have been using WordPress for many many years now. I have used wordpress for almost all of my clients sites and only a few were actual blogs!

When you think about it, any kind of organization or business needs a recent news or events section right? So why wouldn’t you use the #1 CMS platform to accomplish just that; but with both ease of use and a stylish outcome. Its a no-brainer right?

I couldn’t see any reason why any of my clients would want to have a static website when WordPress does so much right out of the box.

I think that most people don’t realize that a WordPress can look any way and do anything they want it to. Many of my clients also don’t realize what the power of RSS can do!

WordPress, RSS and Google oh my!

They do play VERY well together…

They also conducted their first ever user and developer survey, which got over 18,000 responses from all over the world:
They found a few interesting tidbits from the survey responses already, including that 6,800 self-employed respondents were responsible for over 170,000 sites personally, and charged a median hourly rate of $50. In tough economic times, it’s heartening to see Open Source creating so many jobs. (If each site took only 3 hours to make, that’s $29.5M of work at the average hourly rate.)
